I would love to read a male response to this most necessary and powerful expose on Rape Culture.Also, I am curious to know how women who love their fathers, husbands and sons, to the point of protecting them in such a culture of rape and denial.

This was a very enlightening read. I learned so much from the sections on Male Rights Activists, Pick Up Artists, Trolls, and Gamergate. I think conservative-leaning people would have a hard time with this book, but it is very informative and gives a good foundation for understanding what we women deal with if you're not aware. I'd love to read a follow-up in the time of #metoo and Kavanaugh being confirmed.

FINALLY, a book that calls it like it is. Great purchase!

This book is amazing and well written. It really opened my eyes to rape culture in America and caused me to look at it in ways I hadn't before. I would say if you aren't a feminist after reading this book you will be after.

Required book for ophthalmology, made necessary by the fact that professor's notes are not complete or that test answers are explicitly only in this. I thought the Kindle version would be useful especially for using Ctrl+F for specific concepts, but the search function is a nightmare - it will bring up every mention of that word without giving you any sense of where you are in the book/whether you're in the relevant section to do actual reading about said concept. While the organization of the book feels pretty standard, I really don't feel it's useful, and a good bit of useful information is missing. Several words, concepts, and treatments I searched that easily should have been included in any ophtho text weren't even present. Management of emergency conditions was lacking, too. I'm still feeling pretty helpless about ophtho after using this for a couple months. Another review mentions not expecting interventions or treatments - as a veterinary student, I definitely DO expect this in a text for a course systems class, and you should too. Too bad it's too late to return!

The book is entitled Opthalmic diseases in Vet med and that is all it is. The photos are good, but do not expect any treatment options or surgical interventions. The book was recommended by our closest opthalmologist. Perhaps I expected more. I need a book that helps me diagnose and treat. I would like to have some better outline of what are the best treatments that the author would recommend, as he is an expert in the field.

this is a great purchase for anyone interested in veterinary ophtho! Wonderful pictures, easy to understand and a good glossary. I would highly recommend this book

Watch "The Saving of the President" on YouTube.It's a 30-minute documentary produced in late 1981 by the PR department of GW Univ. Hospital.It gives first-hand accounts from the doctors and nurses on staff -- re-enacted for the viewer.The doctor who first discovered a bullet hole in Reagan's side ALSO says (find it at the 8:20 mark)..."There was a blackish rim around the wound."I don't know too much about anything, but that sounds like POWDER BURNS to me.Powder burns indicate that JERRY PARR shot Reagan INSIDE the limo. It was NOT a ricochet from Hinckley's weapon.This means it was an "Inside Job" (isn't everything?) -- and Reagan was supposed to die that day.Nevertheless, George H.W. Important history done very well. Adolph Hitler in 1940 said, "how fortunate for those of us in power that people don't read." In 2016, things have gotten worse instead of better. When people don't have a good education there can be many reasons to explain that. When people are ill informed, there is no explanation and there is no excuse. O'Reilly makes reading fun and informative.

This is a very quick read and so interesting with details I was unaware of prior to reading this book. I highly recommend it.

OMG, Where do I start?Overall, the textbook is written in a user-friendly manner that provides just enough information to learn about organizational development.HOWEVER, this book sucked. As a psych major, I was extremely intrigued to began this book and learned the many ways to assist a company in need of change. This book lacks detailed explanation of some of the most basic models of implementing change and growth in an organization. The material is incredibly dull if you are not planning on going into O/D so keep that in mind when trying to proceed through this information. Honestly, the material is not difficult and after being fed up with the way this information was presented in the book I stopped using it and still received an A in the course.

The book itself was great for my class, but the quality of the used book was terrible. It’s pages are so worn and since they were perforated, many were falling out or taped in already from previous renters. Simply turning a page could make the page start to tear at the perforated edge. Some even fell out when I’d open the book. This was my first rental from amazon so I’m hoping I don’t get charged.

This book is a class book. This book was well written and easy to understand, but it was made like a workbook. The pages were serrated so they were starting to rip out. I was constantly repairing this book to prevent the loss of pages.

This edition is very comprehensive in scope and user friendly for a professor-practitioner like me. It provides learning experiences that are realistic and relevant to the changing scenarios in organizations today. I love it. Thank you Mr. Brown for facilitating our role as OD mentors. I had to buy this for one of my college classes. It wasn't terrible, but I mean it's a textbook so not the best reading ever.

Thus book is boring and dry to read. While it's still useful for organization development courses, I would highly recommend the author brighten it up with more color and a better breakdown of content.Not everything discussed in the book needs as much detail or wording; use real cases and target keypoints next time.

This was a great book. Perfect for beginner IO psychologists working in organizational development. Very informative. It's told by one person so the tone is consistent. Recommend!

A very easy read, which I love. And the cases and exercises at the end of each chapter were really helpful- my class actually went over them every week. I feel like this textbook made it easy to study for our midterm and final since all of the key words and ideas were highlighted and the headings were good.
